Security researchers recently disclosed the vulnerability CVE-2021-44228 in Apache’s log4j on December 9, 2021, which is a common Java-based library used for logging purposes. The vulnerability only requires an attacker to send a specially crafted string to the logging functions. Specifically, the vulnerability is in the Java Naming and Directory Interface (JNDI) support of LDAP.
We have reviewed all our currently used software for this vulnerability and concluded that all the systems within our organization are found that they are not affected. Additionally, we have rolled out a blocklist to publicly known log4j scanners and exploits for all our managed cyber clients.

Update from our web-hosting provider regarding their migration which began today, Saturday 08/21/2021 at 00:00 am EST. “The migration process has already begun. We have already moved a lot of our network infrastructure to the new location in order to set up a fully functioning hosting environment. The next step is to migrate all cloud and VPS/KVM customers. The expected interruption of service will be anywhere between 6 and 24 hours.”.
Update 08/21/2021 06:00 pm: almost all the hosted sites are up. If your site is not up or e-mail is not working, please be patient. They will be up very soon.

We have partnered with a non-profit organization which takes electronic waste and helps low-income families gain access to computers, free or low-cost internet, and Digital Literacy Training.
In November 2018, we donated over 5000 pounds of electronic waste which was diverted from landfill. These types of donations make very real success stories possible.
In the future, we will sponsor electronic waste events so everyone can have the opportunity to join in helping this non-profit organization help low-income families.
