When you drive space is low, Microsoft OneDrive has a method to restore some storage space.
One way is to change the method your OneDrive stores files. You can turn on Files On-Demand. Please follow these instructions.
Once you have made these changes, allow OneDrive to complete its sync.
If you have several folders and files, it can take 1-2 hours to complete its sync.
